Who can volunteer?
Volunteers must have a valid United States Uniformed Services or equivalent
ID card. Unaccompanied volunteers must
be a minimum of 16 years of age.
How do I get started?
Come by Bldg 717 on the corner of 4th & Battery Street
(across from Adventures Unlimited) during store hours to pick up an application.
Or visit www.mcchordspousesclub.com for a printable copy. Fill out the volunteer application and pick a
day to volunteer! Bring your completed application with you on your start day
and receive an information packet from the Floor Manager. Ask any questions or just get started.

the 1st Saturday to mark expired items down.
If you have 3 hours a day, 3 hours a week, or 3 hours a
month, we are happy to have you! This is
a fun and flexible volunteer opportunity that is incredibly rewarding!

What do Volunteer duties include?-Cashiering
-Bagging-Data Entry-Tagging new items- Shelving merchandise

- Store improvement
- Organizing-Pricing donation merchandise

Where does the money go?
The Thrift Shop earned more than $50,000 in the last year for the McChord
Spouses' Club welfare fund. All proceeds
are distributed to the clubs to provide scholarships for Air Force family
members, and to support various organizations in our community. Look for the scholarship application in
January. Welfare request forms are
available to pick up at MTS
or by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org .
